Equipment used by Streetlife...
All of the sound & lighting equipment used is modern state-of-the-art and compact. I do not use tacky effects from the 70's such as rope lights & light boxes etc. Great attention is paid to aesthetics. At the front of my rig, you'll see a 'starcloth' over a frame; meaning that your guests won't see all the unsightly cables, cases etc. Any cables which are in view, such as those going to the speakers, wall sockets etc are taped down for safety.
I do not use smoke machines, bubble machines or strobe lighting unless specifically requested.
Below is a selection of some of the equipment used. If you require anything specific which is not shown here, please do not hesitate to request it. I have access to a far more extensive selection of equipment when needed.

Sound
I constantly update my equipment range with the aim of being compact in order to be as visually discreet as possible but also offering high quality sound reproduction and lighting that adds to the atmosphere and excitement of the event.
My most recent purchase is the latest ground breaking audio technology from Bose. The L1 Cylindrical Radiator Loudspeaker System by Bose is a revolutionary approach in speaker technology. The Bose research & development team have given the L1 some superb attributes offering the following benefits at your event:
It produces fantastic clear sound at any volume akin to high-end Hi-Fi offering much more delicate, texture and refinement of the sound.
Conventional PA systems consist of huge speakers to move the sound around the room whereas the Bose L1 looks elegant, ensuring that it will blend into a beautifully decorated room or any stylish venue with ease. The compact dimensions of the Bose L1 are illustrated (click on image to see larger image):
The full-range sound dispersion is nearly 180 degrees horizontally (90 degrees is the maximum for most conventional speakers). Resulting in almost everyone in the room being able to hear precisely the same detail and quality of sound; perfect for speeches. Here's an example of how the sound travels from a conventional speaker versus the Bose L1 (click on image to see larger image):
There are 24 small speaker cones in the L1 column instead of one BIG speaker cone (with a conventional PA system). You can stand very close to the speaker without being blasted. The spread of sound is truly remarkable and is easily loud enough for dancing without being too loud for conversation. It's an incredible dynamic that has to be experienced to be believed! I have two double-bass systems which are located either side of me for full stereo reproduction (A double-bass system consists of 1x PS1 Powerstand, 1x L1 column and 2x B1 bass units).
