Price Structure for booking Streetlife...

The exact fee depends on three main factors:
1. The size of the venue, this determines how much sound & lighting equipment I need to bring and the access, i.e. if the equipment has to be carried up flights of stairs etc.

2. Length of the function. The time I need to arrive and the time that I leave.

3. Distance to travel (I am based in London NW9).

The main factor is the size. The larger the venue, the more sound & lighting equipment that is needed.

If the venue does not have easy access meaning the equipment has to be carried through a series of corridors and/or up flights of stairs this would incur an additional fee.

Silver Package: £700

Top quality Bose sound system providing more than enough volume for up to 300 guests. Intelligent lighting effects, uplighting, plus iBall & Starcloth DJ booth.

This is for a 5 hour period, i.e. 7pm to midnight.
If your function is for longer than 5 hours or for more than 300 people you can calculate the additional cost here.

Gold Package: £900

In addition to the Silver package I will setup all of the equipment before you arrive at the venue.

I will play specially selected background music during your meal and provide a wireless/radio mic for use during the speeches or a lapel mic if preferred.

Platinum Package: £1,100

In addition to the Gold Package I will act as MC for your event - which could include such things as introducing speeches, special introductions for each member of the bridal party, running charity fundraisers etc.

If your cocktail reception is in a different room to the room being used for the main meal and disco I will setup a seperate P.A. system and play specially selected background music during the cocktail reception.

Nightclub Package: £1,200

Top quality sound system suitable for up to 800 guests. 14 intelligent lighting effects plus static lighting. Starcloth DJ booth.

If you do not require any lighting for your event then I offer a Bronze Package which gives you a 10% discount from the Silver/Gold/Platinum Package price.

Early set-up: £25 per hour before scheduled start time.

Background Music: £25 per hour before scheduled start time. You choose the style of music you would prefer. Many clients choose easy listening/rat-pack style sounds. (If you book background music for during the meal, there is no additional charge for early setup).

Extra Hours: £30 per 30 minutes after the scheduled end time.

MC - To act as MC during the meal and make announcements, introductions etc. £50 per hour.

The prices I quote are all inclusive and this will be stated clearly in the contract. At present I am not VAT-rated, although many of the above services will include VAT.

Note: If you book background music during the meal there are no additional early early set up fees.

Travel Expenses

To calculate the travel expenses to be added to the above base prices, I will check the distance to the venue from NW9. I use a simple travel expense formula which is:

First 25 miles - no additional charge
26 to 50 miles - add £30
51 to 75 miles - add £45
76 to 100 miles - add £60
101 to 125 miles - add £75
126 to 150 miles - add £90
over 150 miles - £1 per mile and will often include overnight accommodation.

For central London (especially Soho) there can also be other small additional costs, such as congestion charge (during the week) and parking depending on the scheduled arrival time, so the above is a rough guide.
