The Oak Barn

Acoustically, oak barns with vaulted ceilings are some of the best rooms to DJ in. The timber absorbs the harsh frequencies that make music sound thin or shrill in modern function rooms, while the height and shape of the vault allow the lower frequencies to breathe. The result is rich, full sound that wraps around the room. I do not need to push volume to create energy in a space like this. The room does a lot of the work.
